***This is a beginner level low light class, however students need to know and be able to demonstrate safe gun handling, weapon system familiarity, foundational marksmanship skills, and working from a holster.***
There are three main principles when employing your white light, discipline, deterrence and positive target identification. In this course we dive deep into these three principles and explore how to effectively manage your white light as it pertains to actively looking for and engaging a threat.
Whether your in your home or outdoor scenario this course covers the essential techniques for effective search, navigation, target identification, and engagement of potential threats.
-The human eye and low light
-Principles of low-light tactics
-Equipment Selection (night sights, flashlights, weapon mounted lights)
-Lighting Techniques (handheld/weapon mounted light)
-Dry/Live Fire Drills
-**At least 2 chem lights/glow sticks**
-Holster (Inside or Outside the Waistband)
-Flashlight/Weapon Mounted Light or both
-Pants and Long Sleeve Shirt
-Rain Gear (we train rain or shine)
-Ammo: 300 rounds
