Spend a spring afternoon exploring Tamaqua's best kept secret: the beautiful Owl Creek Reservoir Natural Area. Take a walk, learn more about local businesses, and enjoy lunch at the concession stand. Arrive early to take part in the annual dog walk to benefit the Tamaqua Area Animal Rescue ($10 donation), test-drive a kayak, bring a bike and take an easy two-mile ride around the lower reservoir, or explore some of the trails.

11 AM, Registration opens for Dog Walk ($10 Donation)

11:15, Join PORCUPINE PAT for a guided nature walk designed for kids

Noon, Dog Walk departs for easy, two-mile walk around lower reservoir
