"Curriculum Outdoors" is for teachers or education staff in the Tame Valley Wetlands who would like to develop the skills to take their National Curriculum outdoors. Led by Staffordshire Wildlife Trust staff, we will take you through different activities that you can easily run in your school grounds, discuss the benefits of outdoor learning, review the health and safety considerations of outdoor activities, and give you the confidence to take learning outside!
Our day of maths will include activities for addition, subtraction, comparison, shapes, data collection and analysis.
Suitable for primary and secondary teachers. You can choose to book on for one, two or three days, each day will include different activities. Please note we will be outdoors for parts of the day, so please wear/bring suitable waterproof and warm clothing, and bring a packed lunch.
