Explore the many rooms of this old weatherboard cottage and imagine how people lived in the early 1900's. Master bedroom, Parlor, Dining Room, Kitchen and children's bedrooms upstairs contain many well known items from times past plus a few that will surprise you. There is also the Old Kitchen where you can warm your hands by the open fire... or if you're lucky, have a taste of something cooking.
As well as touring Tarella, you will be able to see our exhibition "High Life in the Mountains”, in The Sun Room Gallery. Learn more about the way our ancestors in the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries spent their leisure time through the early photographs and souvenirs from our collection.
Entry charges are $5.00 for adults and $2.00 for children. Entry to the exhibition is free with entry to Tarella. Refreshments are also available for a small donation.
