Eleven years ago, 32 students and faculty were killed by a shooter at Virginia Tech. It remains the worst such tragedy on a college campus in American history.

On Sunday, April 29, 2018 VTV and the City of Alexandria will be planting 32 trees in Chinquapin Park to create a memorial tree grove. Designed by four of the students at Virginia Tech’s Old Town-based Landscape Architecture program, it will honor the victims and the survivors and provide a place for gatherings and contemplation.

Join us for a reception to celebrate with speakers:
VTV President Joe Samaha
Virginia State Delegate Chris Hurst (D-12/Blacksburg)
