The annual Tecumseh Schools Orchestra guest artist concerts are a fantastic opportunity for TSO students to perform on stage with accomplished musicians. This year, TSO 5, 6, 7, 8, and High School students perform with fiddler Andy Carlson and guitarist Adam Schlenker, educators at Denison University in Granville, Ohio.

Andrew Carlson is a Professor of Music, teaching violin, conducting the chamber orchestra and directing the bluegrass ensemble. He also serves as the Concertmaster of the Newark-Granville Symphony Orchestra and has been hailed as a “demon fiddler” by The New York Times. Adam Schlenker teaches in the Bluegrass Program. He is an artist/ instructor in residence at The McConnell Arts Center in Worthington Ohio and founded 5th Fret Productions which provides personalized online, video based lessons with students across the US, throughout Europe and Australia.
