Temple business meetings are an opportunity for the members of the Temple to gather and decide on the direction(s) the Temple will be going and how we can get there. We make plans for the upcoming month and go over any outstanding items that need to be addressed. In general we gather, check-in, choose roles (convener, scribe, etc.) for the current meeting, cover any announcements, and then come up with an agenda for the meeting.
We then cover the agenda topics, striving for consensus decisions after getting input from all attendees. Once we finish with addenda items, we have a moment of silence, random ravings, and then close where we state an appreciation, review how the process went, and state an affirmation. We usually end with a song.
