We are delighted to inform you about our upcoming education event: CVI in the classroom.
This is the first event for parents in Northern Ireland that looks specifically at how children & young people with CVI traits can be supported in the classroom.
Saturday 5th May @ Templeton Hotel, Templepatrick.
Registration & coffee 9:30am with the event running from 10.00am to 1.30pm.
Our expert speaker is Janet Harwood, a Qualified Teacher for Vision Impairment (QTVI). Janet has many years of experience working directly with children with CVI - supporting their educational needs, enabling them to flourish and to reach their educational potential. This event will equip parents with an increased understanding of the condition, the challenges it presents and potential strategies that can be tried at home.
Janet’s talk will be followed by a question and answer session. As CVI l presents differently in each individual child, this Q&A session will give parents the opportunity to ask specific questions on the unique needs of their children.
