CE: 14 Hours – Lecture Only

Course Objectives:
◾Review of common cardiac diseases and principles of diagnosis, staging and management with emphasis on the role of echocardiography
◾This course will be predominantly case based and attendees will be encouraged to participate in the evaluation of presented case materials (physical examination, ECG, chest radiographs, blood pressure, cardiac biomarkers, blood work and echocardiography) to develop diagnostic, treatment and follow-up plans
◾In addition attendees are encouraged to bring case materials from cases they have seen for inclusion in group discussion
◾Taught by Matthew W. Miller, DVM, MS, DACVIM Cardiology

Pre-requisite course recommendations:
Echocardiography Diagnostics and Clinical Utility or equivalent clinical experience
Advanced Echocardiography and Doppler in Acquired Heart Disease: Part 1, Part 2 and Part 3 or equivalent clinical experience
