This Spring, the Art Gallery at the Rockefeller State Park Preserve welcomes the artistry of Val Kilmer, actor, author, producer, and director, introducing "FROM NATURE" inspired by the forested hills, valleys and pastoral landscape of the Pocantico watershed. Visitors will be further enhanced by the cultural experience of the Japanese Tree Peony Garden in full bloom prior to entering Kilmer's exhibition of unique abstract enamel paintings, co-curated by Audrey Leeds of the gallery and John Woodward of the Woodward Gallery, NYC.
The public is invited to these free events from May 12th - June 11th, daily from the hours of 9:30 a.m.-4:30 p.m.
The Rockefeller family has generously gifted 1400 acres that lead around the 22 acre Swan Lake to the State of New York. Currently managed by Susan Antenen, their mission is to safeguard their beauty and the wildlife therein for generations to come.
