Decoupe literally means "to cut out" in French, and learning decoupage techniques will enable you to embellish and decorate just about anything using paper or card then coating in layers of Frenchic Finishing Coat.
This workshop will show you how to do the following things...
* paint your piece in preparation for decorating
* isolate images from a selection of napkins, wallpaper and colourful patterned paper
* pattern composition and design
* the principles of basic Decoupage
* use Frenchic Finishing Coat as an adhesive medium and glaze
Materials Required: Please bring along your choice of small project such as a frame, jam jar, bottle or plant pot.
Materials Included: Access to my collection of Frenchic Furniture Paint, Finishing Coat and Frenchic Brushes, a selection of napkins, wallpaper and patterned tissue paper and of course, tea and cake!
Classes are small and limited to a maximum of 8 people so you get the personal tuition you need to help you with your project.
Please note that this is a Beginners Level 1 class so you do not need to have any previous experience in painting or have attended any of my other workshops in order to take part.
