What is it?
A poetry slam is a live event wherein poets and spoken word artists perform their work and are judged by members of the
audience. All performers have three minutes
to share their work in the first round. Performers who will continue to the next round will be determined by the judges' scores.

How do I take Part?
There are two ways you can join in:
1. You can come as an audience member.
2. You can enter as a poet or spoken word artist.

Those wishing to register as audience members can register online, by telephone or in person.

Those wishing to perform must contact the library to register at
(250) 372-5145 or questions@tnrd.ca.

Performance rules can be found on the Library website at www.tnrl.ca
