“Piano Circus is spectacular. If contemporary music has any equivalent to the Red Arrows, then this ensemble must surely be it.” BBC Music Magazine

The internationally-acclaimed six piano ensemble Piano Circus visits Edge Hill University. Featuring new music written for the ensemble, the concert programme includes works by Edge Hill-based composers Steve Davismoon and John Lowndes and will also feature the winning work from a composers’ competition, arranged in partnership with Oklahoma City University. Oklahoma student Hannah Saphire will attend the first performance of her work Snake Skins.

Tuesday 17th April: FREE Workshops
A programme of FREE workshops are also planned in which Hannah Saphire’s Snake Skins, together with the Davismoon and Lowndes pieces, will be discussed.

For further details on the Workshops, please contact the Performing Arts Department Helpdesk directly on 01695 650704 or via email: PA-admin@edgehill.ac.uk
