Come drink, eat, dance, and feast your eyes, ears, and heart on the creations of Atlanta’s up and coming Latinx artists working in film, sculpture, poetry, mixed media, visual arts, performance, music, and dance.
Ni Aquí Ni Allá is a multimedia performance and installation giving voice to Atlanta's Latinx community.
We will revisit our childhood memories, our family traditions, our spiritual roots through a lens polished with subversion and decolonization. These are the moments that colored our lives and firmly grounded us in the cultures and narratives we have become geographically removed from. Ni Aquí Ni Allá is a window onto a vital facet of American culture, and we welcome people of all backgrounds to indulge in our uniquely American blend of Latin cultures and traditions, uprooted and replanted. Through nostalgia and symbolic repurposing, Ni Aquí Ni Allá is a space for defining, decolonizing, and reclaiming our Latinx identity in all of its prismatic splendor. Come into our home, listen to our stories colored in Spanglish, perreo if the mood strikes you.
We’ll have tamales provided by NANA fam and elotes by the incomparable La Elotera!
Dance vibes provided by La Choloteca! AND the Cholxs will keep the night going at MJQ with the April edition of Atlanta's fuego-est Latinx dance party 🙌
*Latinx is a gender-inclusive term referring to people of Latin American descent.
