$10 ADV / $12 DOS / ALL AGE / BALLROOM
Growing up together in the greater Cleveland, OH area, The Floorwalkers met as children and teenagers. Then in high school, they began playing music together from 2000-04. Part of the band moved to Columbus, OH and released a self-titled acoustic EP in '05.
As a three-piece, the band traveled the Midwest in support of their EP. By 2007, the whole band had relocated to Columbus. Releasing the 2008 Frankfort Ep.
While working on a debut full-length album, they managed to garner a strong Midwest following. In November 2010 over 1300 fans came out to two Ohio release dates for their first full length "The Natural Road."
Since then, they have toured nationally, and remain completely independent. In a time when the music industry is reeling, The Floorwalkers have embraced the changes and built a truly grassroots following.
White Buffalo Woman
Pairing well on bills with Dex Romweber, Patrick Sweany, The BuffaloKillers, Dan Sartain, Jacuzzi Boys, The Ettes, James Leg and The Stone Foxes, White Buffalo Woman continues to navigate the highways of rock ’n’ roll stardom.
White Buffalo Woman embodies rock ’n’ roll by fusing soul and blues that is sometimes reminiscent of the early Stones, while also delivering a blend of rock and punk into an explosion of new music that aurally comes off as a tougher 60s tinged Strokes.
Now after several releases by Grimtale Records, to include a full length and several 7” vinyl records, White Buffalo Woman will be distributing their next record through The Orchard and hitting the road for a U.S. tour in the Spring of 2018.
The Tom Katlees
