Love to ride? Like to support children to give them a better chance in life?

Get your pedals and chamoix ready and join the CoV Saigon Ride on Sunday 18th March. The teams from The Bike Shop (TBS) Thao Dien and Alehap.vn are organising a fun 50km ride to raise awareness and money for the 20th Anniversary of Children in Vietnam (CoV). The ride is open to all, we'll do roads and some gravel tracks so MTB is recommended. If you're a competitive rider you can steam off ahead, if you want to ride and talk, there's a space for you too.

Children of Vietnam is a small charity that has made an ENORMOUS impact in Central Vietnam to improve the lives of tens of thousands of young children. The COV team are hosting the MAIN ride between 15-17th March in Central Vietnam, tackling some mountains and paying visits to some of the schools and projects that they've made happen over the years.

For those of us who can't get to Danang we're bringing the ride to Saigon too. It's like your usual weekend ride but with a great cause and some new friends to meet too.

CoV Saigon Ride: Ride 8am - 11:30 am, followed by lunch BBQ, Sunday 18th March

Departing from: The Bike Shop, 250 Nguyen Van Huong, Thao Dien, District 2, Ho Chi Minh (see map)

Here's how you can help:

Tell your friends, colleagues and fellow cyclists. Help us to spread the word about the ride to get as many riders as we can.
If you're joining the ride on the 18th March then you can add yourself to the CoV Saigon team here (optional - you can just come) and raise a little money for CoV.
And if you can't join but would like to contribute, we'd welcome any donation large or small. You'll be amazed at how far the money can go to help Children that otherwise would have no opportunity for education and good health.
We'll have a large mixed group in the team, led by The Bike Shop velo-heads, with the Alehap team at the back! It's going to be fun, for a great cause and you'll meet some new cycling buddies too.

Looking forward to meeting you all,

The CoV Saigon Ride Team
