Help Stardust the Whale and Xochipilli make it to Burning Man 2018!
Xochipilli is a metal and ceramic sculpture of a honey bee, with fire and light to draw people together. Xochipilli is the Aztec god of Dance, Art, Flowers, and many other things. Every night guests will be able to unleash his powers through a control panel in a ceremony of light, art, and dance.
The mission with Xochipilli is to educate people on the importance of our friendly insect neighbors. Global Warming is effecting bee colonies all over the planet, and simply without bees there are no humans. "The simplicity is something I hope inspires others to think minimal, minimize waste, hate, and negativity" (Artist, Matthew Smith)
