Calling all landlubbers, bully boys, and folks with salt for blood! if you're pining for a taste of that sea air, come on down to the Brothers Public House every Wednesday night from the 11th of April for Melbourne's very own Sea Shanty Session, brought to you by The Grubby Urchins.
We'll be covering a boatload of maritime work songs from the golden age of sail, easy to learn call and response songs with short refrains and intuitive melodies. Everyone and anyone is encouraged to sing along. No existing musical ability required, just a good set of bellowing lungs. Lyrics will be provided.
So come on down to the Brothers Public House on a Wednesday evening of your choice, let loose your inner seadog, and take advantage of the best Guiness in town while you're at it!
