Times: 9am prompt to 5pm Saturday and Sunday
Cost: club members £25, non club members £150
Objectives: This two-day entry level course providing the skills and background knowledge needed to drive a powerboat and is the basis of the International Certificate of Competence. It focuses on low speed close quarters handling, man overboard recovery, an introduction to driving at planing speed, and collision regulations.
Food & Drink: Teas and Coffee will be provided, but please bring your own packed lunch / snacks for the days
Clothing: Please bring clothing suitable for the conditions (keep a watch on the weather forecast), i.e. good winter wet suit or dry suit or warm cloths with waterproof jacket, trousers, hats, cloves and soft soled shoes / wetsuit boots. We are not planning on getting into the water but this is a wet activity. Towel and a change of clothes for after the activity. Hot showers are provided.
Buoyancy Aids: Will be provided, however if you have your own bring it along
