Join us at the hut for an afternoon of learning the 101 of Ayurveda!
Ayurveda is the worlds oldest system for health and healing.
Ayurveda literally translates to "the science of health" or "the knowledge of longevity". Sister science to Yoga, Ayurveda was meant to be taught and shared alongside the physical practice of Yoga. This prevention-based system for healing will provide you with all the knowledge and tools you need to find balance off the mat physically, mentally and energetically.
Through diet, herbs, lifestyle habits and self-care routines you can learn how to regain balance in your life and prevent any future imbalances which cause disease!
Specialist Samantha Mee will dive into the history of this practice and the principles of health according to Ayurveda. Practical, traditional and modern theories and ways in which we came to hold this knowledge that is the foundation of this practice (for example, the elements of nature and how they come together to form the Doshas. curious about what the Doshas are? join!).
Lastly, Samantha will guide and give recommendations for ways to bring each individual back into balance that is easy and very applicable in your everyday life.
