The 5th annual era dinner/dance benefit for Clinton County Historical Society and the Community Courtyard will focus on the 1940's. A complimentary drink will be served during a USO Show movie short featuring an interview with a well-known WW II veteran, from Plattsburg, who was a tail gunner during many bombing missions over Europe. Other WW II veterans will be honored in person and there are many items of extreme significance and interest on display. Following will be a dinner, then dessert with champagne punch while everyone enjoys the Big Band Sound of 'The Overtones," Kansas City's own 18 piece band. Got to love that swing---come Boogie Woogie!!!
