Donna Latham’s been making up stuff, acting it out, and writing it down forever. Her plays have been produced coast to coast and across many ponds—all the way to Jarkarta. She is the recipient of numerous awards and accolades including Kennedy Center Regional Finalist for the David Mark Cohen Playwriting Award, recipient of the National Theatre for Young Audiences Playwriting Award from the University of Central Missouri, Honorable Mention Award from the Beverly Hills Theatre Guild.

Featured in this showcase of many of her best short plays is "Glacial Decline," which was a finalist in the Gary Garrison Play Festival.

A few of her full length plays include "A Midnight Clear: The Christmas Truce of 1914" which was a semi-finalist, Dionysus Cup Festival of New Plays, Polarity Ensemble Theatre Company, Chicago, "The Haunted Widow Lincoln," which went up at the Batavia Arts Council and Rover Dramawerks in Plano, Texas, and was a semi-finalist for the Playwrights First Award and the Vittum Prize, and "Most Wretched Deathbed Fever Dreams of Edgar Allan Poe" which made its world premiere at Company OnStage at the beginning of our 2017-2018 season.

Many of Donna's short plays have been featured in short play festivals in Houston including The Houston Scriptwriter's 10 x 10, and Pandora Theatre's "Vox Feminina."

Donna’s plays are licensed with Chicago Dramaworks, YouthPLAYS, Brooklyn Publishers, and Heure. Donna is a resident playwright at Rising Sun Performance Company NYC and a proud member of the Dramatist Guild and you can learn more about her at www.donnalatham.com.
