Do you care for a loved one with a serious illness, disability or dementia? Our free one-hour drop-in support group for unpaid family caregivers is a safe place to connect with other caregivers who truly understand what you are going through. Exchange practical information on caregiving problems and possible solutions. Talk through challenges and ways to cope. Share feelings, needs and concerns. Learn about resources in our community. You are not alone.
We offer a support group on the 4th Monday of each month (in April, it is the 5th Monday - April 30) at 1:00 p.m. Come early if you can - at noon we offer a free class to evaluate your unique caregiving situation and help connect you to valuable community resources.
If Monday's are hard for you, we also offer a free drop-in caregiver support group on the 2nd Tuesday of each month between 10:00 and 11:00 a.m.
The Edel Caregiver Institute is a free community resource funded by community donations. Your loved one does NOT need to be a Hospice Savannah Foundation. Our goal is to help caregivers long before hospice even needs to be considered! Find out more at www.EdelCaregiverInstitute.org or call 912.629.1331.
