This weekly class is designed, not as a "diet" but more so as an ongoing "Lifestyle Change".
We open with prayer, do some light stretching exercises to Worship Music, watch the Daniel Plan DVD series and then have fellowship by discussing what we learned/got out of the DVD teaching.
Having struggled with weight issues all my life, I know that the only way to change old habits is to replace them with new ones and to allow myself to be held accountable. This is exactly what we are doing in this group. It has no end date, because it is not a diet and we continually need all five areas: faith, food, fitness, focus & friends to be active and on the forefront of our minds.
We learn a new recipe and fitness move each week and occasionally do a pot luck to try out some new recipes.
Please join us on this journey to health... body, soul and spirit. You'll be glad you did. There is no condemnation in this group. We take baby steps and celebrate small victories as we move closer each week to being ALL God has created us to be.
There is a $5 per week fee to cover our space and operating expenses.
