To The Rescue!
Sat 30th June - Sun 1st July
This two day workshop, run by Julie Bedford and Celia Bourne, is aimed at anyone who would like help with any behaviour issues they are experiencing with their dog in a really supportive, secure environment. Julie and Celia will be on hand all weekend to guide you and your dog and to answer any questions you may have.
Whilst we may not be able to significantly change a dog's behaviour over the course of one weekend we can help you to identify why your dog behaves in such a way and develop strategies to manage your dog effectively and safely into the future.
Problems covered will depend upon the participating dogs but are likely to cover subjects such as dog to dog and dog to human aggression, inappropriate chase , separation problems etc.
Sessions will include both practical and theoretical elements where we will work on subjects such as Learning Theory, observational skills and the importance of building a relationship with your dog.
All dogs are very welcome. We have lots of room to make dogs who need space from people and dogs comfortable and will be allocating parking, providing exercise areas etc to ensure that everyone is safe and happy.
In order to make sure everyone gets as much help as possible during this weekend there are only 8 handler places available.
Dogs need to be happy resting in your vehicle whilst they are not being worked. There is plenty of space to bring shades, gazebos etc to ensure your dogs are comfortable regardless of the weather conditions.
