To celebrate the launch of our new attractions, we are hosting a great British tea party at the sanctuary and invite you to join us for these celebrations.

This event is a big thank you to all our supporters and visitors who have supported us through two years of building work as we moved our donkey hospital to a purpose-built veterinary hospital at Brookfield, Honiton.

This will be a fun-packed day for the whole family and little ones are in for a treat with a FREE ice cream for every child!

Offering an exclusive insight into the work of The Donkey Sanctuary and caring for our wonderful residents, come along and enjoy some fascinating talks and demonstrations, including:

- All things donkey talk
- Donkey facilitated learning talk and enrichment demonstration
- Working worldwide
- How and why vets perform a welfare assessment
- Meet Laurel and Hardy
- Donkey grooming demonstration

Devour delicious Devon cream tea's among new friends in the event marquee, where fun-loving funk/soul/jazz singer, Adam in the hat and his Jazz Trio will entertain with crowd-pleasing tunes. Children's entertainers will also be on-hand to keep little ones amused, including our resident mascot, Lucky the Donkey and there will also be thrilling trailer rides throughout the day.

For the insider's guide to the sanctuary, join a tour around our working farm where expert guides will impart their knowledge and give you a better understanding of the sanctuary and the friendly residents who live here.

The sanctuary will be open as normal, with hundreds of donkeys to meet and lots more to explore. Delicious, wholesome food will be available throughout the day from our stunning new family-friendly restaurant, The Kitchen, and don't forget to visit the new Gift Shop for donkey-design items to suit every pocket.
