Join us at the Edinburgh Remakery on 25th April for a special one-off workshop in clothing and textile care and repair with seamstress, Gillian, as part of this years’ Fashion Revolution Week.
Over the past 10 years, clothing has been the fastest growing waste stream in the UK and it’s predicted that 235 million items of clothing will end up in landfill in the UK alone this spring.
We at the Edinburgh Remakery want to create a community with zero waste at its heart, and we would like to invite you to our FREE 113-minute workshop to share knowledge and skills to enable you to get the most out of your clothes.
Learn how to care for your clothes with some expert tips and advice, and join our hands-on workshop as we teach you how to carry out simple repairs to extend the life of your clothes, teaching you fun and practical new skills that could not only save you money but also save your favourite dress, jumper, or trousers from ending up in the bin.
Please note that this workshop has a limited capacity of 10 people and spaces must be reserved on the Edinburgh Remakery website. Only one space can be reserved per person at a time.
