Marx Solvila (Wavie Gang)
Born and raised in the church on the Northside of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, Marcus Mitchell, aka Marx Solvila, relocated to Jackson, Tennessee, at the age of 18. In Jackson he adapted roots that would empower his sound. Over the years he has sang background for Lisa McClendon and Shea Norman, he currently wrote and appeared as a vocalist on Wyclef Jean Carnival III: The Fall and Rise of a Refugee. Major strides are expected in this young artist career.
Tukkiman is an internationally acclaimed singer, songwriter, producer and bandleader from Dakar, Senegal. His music is a unique mix of Afro-Beat, World, Hip Hop, Reggae and English Pop and sounds like a mix between U2, D Angelo and Bob Marley. His style is powerful, political and knows no borders.
Hugh Lee is a lyricist from Chicago known for his tongue in cheek lyrics, biting satire and witty punch lines that make his listeners smile, wince or have an outburst of nostalgia.
Emcee Monte is a talented MC, Producer, DJ, Song-writer and all around Entertainer from the south side of Chicago. He is one of Chicago's finest underground MCs. He is known for his versatile rhyming and his powerful, positive messages. Influenced by the pioneers of Hip Hop, Emcee Monte delivers a phenomenal performance with the essence of the originators and old school greats like Run DMC, Kurtis Blow, LL Cool J and Rakeem fused with the style and flare of new school artist like Common, Lupe Fiasco, Pharrell and Missy Elliot.
