Suggested for the very young (birth-to-6), but fun for all.
LOOSE PARTS is a wordless, 30-minute show that introduces young kids to safe everyday building materials, helps them create a world, and then invites them to stay, play and explore. As we explore, we’ll meet friends, have snack time, solve puzzles, and discover unexpected causes-and-effect silliness. Musician provide live musical accompaniment.
This is a participatory theater experience, where kids don’t have to stay in their seats, but can instead take part in the action.
This is a pay-if-you-like event.
LOOSE PARTS is influenced by Free Play and the genre of Theater for the Very Young (ages 0-6). It is designed specifically for younger audiences. The show is an elementary performance featuring movement, music, audience participation and snack time. The show also serves as an introduction to theatrical experiences. We're all learning how to navigate this world!
LOOSE PARTS was created by Zach Bramel, with help from Julia Krebs Patterson, Talleri Adkins McRae, Nora Christensen and Squallis Puppeteers.
