Join contemporary landscape artist, Frank Serrano, for an instructional day of landscape oil painting on location in the beautiful Bridgeport area!
Serrano, an avid outdoorsman, is recognized for his keen sense of atmospheric observation and ability to spontaneously interpret his personal connection with nature onto canvas. In 2002 he completed writing and illustrating his first book, Plein Air Painting in Oil, published by the Walter Foster Company and has also published 2 DVDs on Mastering oil painting, by American Artist Magazine. He has served as a plein air painting consultant for Walt Disney Studios and has taught at the Disney Academy and Dreamworks Studios in Burbank California.

1-2 small canvases (between 6x8 and 9x12)

Refined art grade linseed oil
3 hog bristle flat brushes:

We will meet at The Fox Den at 7:30am and then head out to the painting location. We will come back into the town of Bridgeport for lunch and then head back out for the rest of the afternoon.
