As one of the most versatile and talented architects working in China today Zhu Pei has made a name for himself through his pursuit of design approaches that differ often radically, between different projects. using the latest computer technology, he creates forms that offer both contract to and a development of the site in which they appear. As the first generation of Chinese architects to build an international reputation, Pei first became known through his Digital Center for the 2008 Beijing Olympics. Currently, he is designing the Jingdezhen Imperial Kiln Museum at the site of one of China's most important cultural sites.
