We've got a very strange set of noises coming your way for Friday the 13th! Come on down and brave the superstitious day, with an evening of unusual music.

THE BLACK SHEEP FREDERICK DICKENS
This is likely to be one of the most haunting experiences, you could ever have in a live music setting. A bold claim, but The Black Sheep Frederick Dickens are a bold band. With huge soundscapes that hit you with massive waves of artists like Nick Cave and early Depeche Mode, it's safe to say that the roots of this band are planted firmly in gothic electro. Their dark and cinematic soundscapes combined
with unhinged, baritone vocals; conceptualise the life and legacy of Charles Dickens' wastrel brother. They take a tragic story filled with darkness and despair and use it as a metaphor for the modern day.

"That was something else." - Vic Galloway BBC 6 Music/Radio Scotland

"Utterly bizarre but compellingly brilliant" - EvenTheStars

In support, we have some epic local talent.

My Wonderful Daze hail from the fantastic band creating machine that is York's Access To Music college. They make very dark alt-rock noises, which are performed with skill that is way beyond their years. Crunching guitars and powerhouse drums combine with a soaring, intimidating vocal performance.

Bone Orchids are going to open up the night for us, with their mix up of 90's rock, goth and electro. It sounds like a mash-up between Enya, The Cranberries and Evanescence. Not many two-pieces can sound as big as this! See for yourself: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ZuLBih0mdMc
