Emily Rowan is a singer, piano basher, uke toter and glitter addict. Simon Bolley is a musician who plays drums like the lead guitarist he is. Together they are Flora Greysteel, a York-based duo who officially formed in 2015, but who have collaborative roots stretching back to 2009. Basing their sound in piano, drum kit and female vocals, the band use a wide variety of other instruments including ukulele, thumb piano and assorted small percussion, not to mention the widespread use of loop pedal.

Kits (stylised KITS). Kit - noun - a small fur-bearing animal. Formed in 2013, KITS is the one-man production project of Jayson Turner, an over-qualified Software Engineer living in Manchester, UK. KITS combines vocals, electric guitar, synth, and sequenced percussion amidst other “toys”. The vision is to create something simple and meaningful with uplifting melodies and neat beats.

Mayshe Mayshe - https://soundcloud.com/mayshe-mayshe
York/ Leeds based Mayshe-Mayshe imbues her dreamlike electonic pop with rich storytelling, skittering percussion and infectious melodies. Her deceptively simple songwriting - at once universal and deeply personal - incorporates choral vocals, looping synths and the occasional hairdryer.
