Body Control Pilates Classes with Hannah Modget
Hannah is a fully accredited level 3 Body Control Pilates Mat and Reformer Teacher and a level 4 (Back4Good) lower back pain specialist instructor and absolutely loves teaching Pilates!
Pilates is a series of exercises which are either performed on a mat or on specialist equipment. The exercises are designed to strengthen and streamline your body with an emphasis on core stability. Body Control Pilates is remarkably effective – and medically-approved. It is of an holistic nature, being based upon a well-constructed philosophical foundation. Central to the Method is ‘awareness of your own body’ and each and every exercise is built around its eight basic principles: Relaxation, Co-ordination, Alignment, Stamina, Concentration, Centring, Breathing, Flowing Movements
Benefits of Pilates include: Improved posture and alignment, strengthens and tones muscles, mindful movement and stress relief, improved balance and co-ordination, helps to prevent injury, increased flexibility and joint mobility
Class sizes: are small to ensure individual attention.
Times & Dates: The course will run on Monday afternoon from 3 or 3.15 to 4 or 4.15pm at The Garron Centre, Llangarron. Classes run termly according to school dates. The first series is: Monday 16th April - Monday 21st May
Venue: a bright airy hall which is fully accessible with parking, toilets and under floor heating (great for exercise classes!).
Payment: is via BACS or cheque to Hannah.
Class Swapboard: Hannah offers an online swap-board because she understands that paying for dates when you know you are not going to be there is frustrating. She also teaches in Monmouth and Usk so you can make up your missed classes by attending a different class (if space is available).
