Floating Key acknowledges that this event takes place on stolen and occupied land of the Wurundjeri people of the Kulin Nations. We recognize Black Indigeneity at the epicenter for which the movement operates. We recognize that sovereignty was never ceded.
There have been whispers since our launch (Jan. 2018) regarding a club edition of our initiative, and we are excited to present the full manifestation to all of you. DRIP is the embodiment of Black 90s Futurism, Soul Train aesthetics, and all the shimmering excellence that lies in between. Think: Trippy Witch visits space for a dance party. Stay tuned for further updates on accessibility, code of ethics, and information on the artists.
Although Floating Key prioritises Bla(c)k and POC communities, this event is open to all of those who are outside of and within that context. With all of our events, we only ask those in attendance to consider their position within the space and are open to sharing and engaging with one another, we just want to have fun.
