Funhouse Comedy is back this May and what a line up it is!

Headlining is the wonderful comedic impersonator Danny Posthill.

Danny has been making people laugh since the age of 16 after being talked into doing Impressions at his school talent show.
Since discovering his passion for comedy Danny has never looked back. His versatile act caters for all walks of life with unbeatable stand up and a string of impressions such as Jimmy Carr, Billy Connolly, Lee Evans plus many more to guarantee a night of laughter you will never forget.
Danny has performed all over the world, working around the Mediterranean and South America plus summer seasons for Qdos Productions, flybacks for Thomson Holidays and numerous cabaret dates for Haven, Warners, Pontins and many of the independent holiday venues. Danny is also making a big name for himself on the alternative Comedy Club Circuit.
Danny Posthill is undoubtedly one of the most promising British comedians.

Our opening act is Sean Heydon. Arguably the most televised illusionist in the UK, Sean Heydon is fast becoming one of the world’s most exciting and cutting edge performers to watch.
With experience spanning over two decades and already a multi-award winning entertainer, Heydon is widely recognised as ‘The Alternative Magician’. His unique creative take on traditional magic coupled with a natural ability to perform comedy is what sets him aside from his peers. Entertaining through comedy dusted with a little magic is Heydon’s forte.

Also on the bill is the up coming Peter Brush. A highly distinctive performer and deft writer of finely crafted jokes, Peter Brush unassumingly takes the stage with his slight bespectacled frame and scruffy hair, before consummately conquering it with an arsenal of razor sharp quirky one-liners and peerlessly original routines, all delivered in an amusingly awkward fashion.

Peter has been a finalist in a variety of local and national comedy competitions including the BBC New Comedy Award 2013, as well as winning the Harrogate Comedian of the Year 2012. He has also written for BBC Radio 4’s ‘The News Quiz’, ‘The Show What You Wrote’ and ‘Newsjack’, and has been tour support for Arthur Smith, Justin Moorhouse and Stephen K Amos.

Our compere for the evening is Barry Dodds. Barry charms audiences with his unique brand of disarming wit and wry, and down-to-earth observational humour.
Self-confessed comedy geek, Barry took to the comedy stage at the tender age of 21 and soon had audiences eating out of the palm of his hand. Using his own combination of irrepressibly cheeky, and surprisingly dark, material, he quickly found himself taking the national comedy circuit by storm.
