Vernon Mill is one of the enormous old cotton mills on the edge of Manchester, close to Pear Mill and just a short distance from where you leave the M60 at J27 to link along St Mary’s Way to the A6 to Buxton.
It has a collective of around 50 artists and artisans working in shared or individual studios on the third and fourth floors producing a very wide variety of art and artefacts. Its main exhibition corridor, where a huge number of paintings amongst other work can be seen is usually open from 10am to 4pm throughout the working week, even when individual studios are closed, or you can view a selection of work from some of the artists by visiting the Vernon Mill website
