We are delighted to invite you to the celebration of the 70th Anniversary of the European Movement and the 1948 Congress of the Hague.
Just as in 1948, Europe is at a crossroad, facing challenges of existential nature. The European Movement was created 70 years ago to pull together all sides of society and from across the political spectrum to work towards a united and democratic future for our continent. We look forward to once again having citizens from across Europe come together to reinvigorate European dialogue in search of answers to our common challenges.
At such a time, it should not fall only upon our political leaders to present their political vision; we want to hear from the people of Europe. Therefore, we hope you will join us for two days of inspiring debates and visions for the future of the Europe we share.
Our celebrations have already begun and in the lead-up to the Congress events will be held across Europe to allow citizens and organisations to have their say.
On our website you will be able to register and read much more about the event, the programme and the lead-up that is happening all over Europe.
