Celebrating the subculture with 4 exciting, melodic punk bands:
★ Counterpunch ★
Consisting of three-part harmonies and anthemic choruses, Chicago based punk band Counterpunch blends the sounds of their 90s Fat Wreck Chords style predecessors and the modern day Rise Against angst to make their mark on the music scene. The band has toured the US and abroad, and has shared the stage with such bands as Rise Against, NOFX, Strung Out, The Vandals, Death By Stereo, A Wilhelm Scream, The Flatliners, Lagwagon, The Swellers, and Authority Zero.
★ Pmx ★
Pmx are one of the UK’s top melodic punk bands with hundreds of shows under their belt playing to thousands of people worldwide. Their debut album 'Rise and Shine' was released worldwide with their follow up E.P. ‘Dark Days’ released in 2015. They have played with bands such as Propagandhi, A Wilhelm Scream, Randy, Mute, Goober Patrol, Taking Back Sunday, Anti-Flag and Alexisonfire
★ Skimmer ★
Based in Birmingham, England. Skimmer write skewed pop songs. They've played anywhere and everywhere over the years, with seven headlining tours of Japan to date, and have toured and played with the likes of NOFX, The Queers, Lagwagon, Jawbreaker, Teen Idols, Snuff, Rocket From The Crypt, Bracket, Mr T Experience, New Bomb Turks and Bouncing Souls, as well as many other top British, American and Japanese bands.
★ Shackleford ★
Shackleford was born in the early part of 2015 being a collision (a collusion?) of melodic punk rock, broken guitar strings, silly nicknames and empty tinnies. They draw inspiration from/rip off lots of bands including but not limited to Teenage Bottle Rocket, Jawbreaker, Descendents, Alkaline Trio, Misfits (before they were shit), Leatherface and Screeching Weasel.
