Sarah Eide and Zion Rodman are on tour from Chicago! The Old Rochelle will join them at The Hearing Room in Lowell.

More details coming soon.

Zion Rodman: "Buttery bass-driven bumpers topped by a smoothly crooning voice, Zion's songs go down like sweet barrel-aged bourbon." Zion Rodman established himself as a soulful folk-rock musician in Boston. While he lived in New England, he performed at historic venues like Club Passim and Caffe Lena, and shared the stage with Ellis Paul and Jeffrey Gaines. Zion is currently based in Chicago, where he released his new EP Did Not Wake up Today.

The Old Rochelle: The Old Rochelle infuse an energetic Roots-Rock and Indie-Rock angle into traditional Country-Western style music with elements of Honky-Tonk, World Folk, and Rockabilly. Singer/Songwriter Bucky Fereke delivers a unique and honest approach to songwriting that is deeply rooted in melody, energy, and emotion. Both Bucky Fereke's debut album, 2013's Give Me All Of My Apostrophes Angels, and 2015's Wild River, drew praise from critics and fans alike. As they gain momentum, the word is spreading to a broad multitude of music fans--from classic country purists, to punk rockers, to combat-folk fighters, and beyond.

Sarah Eide: In an industry that can often feel oversaturated with stale soundscapes, lifeless lyrics, and predictable patterns, Sarah Eide’s music cuts through the clutter. Drawing comparisons to iconic contemporary pianists such as Tori Amos, Fiona Apple, and Ben Folds, Eide’s music is equally thoughtful, quirky, intentional, and honest. Intricate piano riffs with a rock’n’roll hustle and intellectually satisfying arrangements accompany songs that have a steadfast, empowering vibe along with sweet approach-ability.
