The Infants' Home will celebrate the Grand Re-Opening of Rigby House, newly renovated with inspiring and inclusive environments, with champagne and canapes on Wednesday April 18 from 6-8pm.
Donors and supporters, staff and parents are invited to join us.
We will welcome His Excellency General The Honourable David Hurley AC DSC (Ret’d), Governor of New South Wales, and our Patron, Mrs Linda Hurley, to The Infants' Home to assist with the ceremony.
Rigby House is one of five Early Childhood Education and Care centres located at The Infants' Home's historic site at 17 Henry Street, Ashfield. It was established in 1959 as a nursery to meet growing child care needs for babies, and has well-served generations of families in our community over time. Now fully renovated to continue to provide services for families into the future, we hope you can join us to celebrate this new chapter in the life of Rigby House, our staff, families and community.
The evening will begin with champagne and canapes on our main lawn followed by a Welcome to Country and an address by our Patron Linda Hurley on the importance of high quality care in early childhood.
Guests will then be invited on small group tours of renovated Rigby House, and to view a showcase of Rigby House's rich history.
We hope you can join us. Our staff are keen to show you around the beautiful centre that our supporters helped us create.
Please RSVP to Anne-Marie Byrne, firstname.lastname@example.org by Friday April 13, 2018.
