Yoga, Belly Dance, and Art

"Contrary to popular belief, knowing you are beautiful is not showing off...it is REVOLUTIONARY."

Inspire a shift. Rediscover and ignite your passion, pleasure and creativity. Tune into your fluid, graceful, beautiful feminine energy and freely connect to your creativite genius with this 3-hr workshop engaging in the three powerful healing arts of Yoga, Belly Dance, and Art.

Awakening your passion, pleasure and creativity through this powerful workshop filled with 3 timeless and proven healing arts. Our first hour will consist of a yoga class led by Tara Jo Young, E-500 RYT. Tara Jo has taught and studied yoga around the globe and is passionate about sharing the powerful healing aspects of the practice with breath movement and meditation, emphasizing the grace and fluidity and femininity of the yoga practice. We will be focusing on opening up the hips and in so doing unleashing and celebrating the gorgeous and powerful creative and passionate woman within all the while healing the body and mind.

Tina Berrier will lead a beginner’s guide to belly dance that connects you to your emotional center while also providing tips on posture and strengthening your core on a daily basis through creating good habits. Some playful group exercise may help us to connect to others around us.
Throughout the experience we will also be working on our art pieces “Milagros” or miracles. Tina will assist in techniques that will help each participant take home a beautiful work of art while allowing for individual creativity and exploration.
Tina, a dancer and artist her whole life, has focused primarily on middle Eastern and fusion tribal dance for the last 15 years. She teaches and choreographs for two dance troupes. In her life as a creative Tina also has expanded her circle of visual art by sharing a studio at The Millworks in Harrisburg for the last three years. Her focus is on mixed media and acrylic painting but she has also recently returned from assemblage workshops in Oaxaca, Mexico and New Orleans.

Absolutely no experience is needed. Everyone is encouraged to step out of there comfort zones and begin a hero's journey.
