Problem Solving from Rural to Main

The general public is welcomed to attend this special presentation from Computer Graphics Technology students from Purdue Polytechnic Richmond.


Did you know that rural high school students are 10% less likely to attend college? Or that 30% of businesses in the downtown area are retail? How can we use technology to increase access to learning or drive more traffic to downtown businesses?


Students from the Human Computer Interface (HCI) class have used Design Thinking to explore challenges and issues of concern facing these two community populations. Students will present their research, then demonstrate prototypes of mobile apps, websites and other systems that might address these issues.
