The promise of longer days, the dreams of warm sunshine, but enough rain to keep mushrooms popping up…spring is upon us in Oregon! You’ll learn basic cooking techniques that celebrate the bounty found on hikes and in our backyards. We’ll be roasting vegetables, weaving a beautiful, flaky lattice-top pie crust, simmering sweet-tart rhubarb curd, and working with nettles! Class culminates in a delicious meal served family style around our beautiful barn wood tables.
On the menu . . . spring greens salad with goat cheese crouton ~ lattice-top chicken and wild mushroom pot pie ~ roasted asparagus with nettle pesto and pancetta ~ pistachio pavlova with rhubarb curd
Enjoy a glass of wine or beer upon arrival and another with dinner. All non-alcoholic beverages are also included!
