Touring their much anticipated debut single, Green Eyed, Sydney band Down The Middle bring their energetic live set to Melbourne for the second time this year with support from local bands The Vacant Smiles and Clean Cut Society.
Drawing inspiration from acts such as The Strokes, Arctic Monkeys and Pixies, Down The Middle combine classic rock 'n' roll with an indie twist entailing soaring pop melodies, powerful guitars and a driving rhythm section. No strangers to the live stage, the band have gigged heavily in early 2018, honing their sound and building a loyal following in their home town of Sydney.
Joining them are favourites of the Melbourne music scene, The Vacant Smiles, who Describe their sound as 'Garage-Psych-Surf Party on Garth'. With a busy schedule so far this year and recent triple J air-time on Home and Hosed with Declan Byrne, these boys are destined for big things in 2018 and beyond.
Opening up the night will be Clean Cut Society swinging their youthful Alt-Rock set that you’ll be a fool not to miss!
