Did you know that only 10 out of the sixty-five Power 5 schools have adopted the NCAA guidance for trans participation in sports?
On Transgender Day of Visibility (Saturday, March 31st), join Athlete Ally in NYC as we convene a powerful panel of current and former athletes focused on how trans athletes are systematically discriminated against in collegiate athletics.
This free and open to the public panel will explore why we continue to see a patchwork of protections for trans athletes in athletics, as well as the solutions and actions needed to ensure that everyone has the ability to thrive in sport -- regardless of their gender identity.
Reggie Bullock, Athlete Ally's newest Ambassador who plays for the NBA's Detriot Pistons. After the tragic death of his transgender sister, Reggie has committed to fighting for equality as an ally to the LBGTQ community.
Chloe Anderson, an NCAA Volleyball player from UC-Santa Cruz. Learn about her story here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=znLUiqzNp98
Liam Miranda, a former NCAA Rower and team captain from Duke who is now a Senior Research Manager at HRC.
