Did you hear about our plans this Saturday?
We've got a specially curated menu and St. Paddy's Day games to celebrate St. Paddy's day!
1. Irish Kisses
How to play:
Everyone who is playing, regardless of whether they are male or female, has to apply a decent coat of lipstick. Then the alcohol is added to the pitcher and it is passed around the group clockwise. Everyone in the group is required to take a sip from the pitcher when it is passed to them. The last person to take a sip then has to act angry and yell something like “Oi !! There’s lipstick on my glass! Which one of you did this? The first person to laugh after this statement is made has to see the contents of the pitcher off.
2. Shot Potato
How to play :
If you have ever played hot potato as a child you will know how to play this game. If not there is no need to worry as it is pretty easy to understand. All you need to do is start passing the potato around a circle of people whilst the Irish music is playing in the background. You will need to put someone in charge of hitting the stop button at random points. Whenever the music stops the person who is left holding on to the potato has to take a shot.
3. Quart O' Quarters
First, fill a few equal-ish cupfuls of green beer or booze for however many are playing the game. Then, spin a quarter on the table. The goal is to chug as much beer as possible before the quarter stops spinning. Whoever chugs the most “wins” the match. Loser cleans up the puke.
4. Edward 40 Hands
A namesake homage to the 1990 Tim Burton film, Edward 40 Hands is a fun drinking game that requires absolutely no luck or skill.
In it, participants duct tape two bottles of drinks to their hands.
Because their hands are now incapacitated, players can’t do anything until the alcohol is finished: no opening doors, no going to the bathroom, no nothing…The person to finish their the fastest wins.
5. Flip or sip
Flip a coin and while it is in the air, call heads or tails. If you guess right, pass the coin to your right. If you guess wrong, pass the coin to your left and take a drink.
If you guess right, you can choose to flip again. Another successful guess lets you pass the coin to anyone of your choosing. A wrong guess has normal consequences.
If you guess right three times in a row, the coin is then passed to your right.
6. Flip Cup
Once everyone is seated with their drink the judge will start the race with “Drinkers ready! 3-2-1 Drink!” When the race has begun, the first racer on each team begins to drink his or her beer. When the first racer has completely finished his or her beer the cup is placed right-side up at the edge of the table, and the person who drank it tries to flip it upside down onto the table using one hand (meaning the lip of the cup would be on the table). If he or she is not successful on the first try, the cup must be reset and re-flipped. If two hands are used the flip is not counted and the cup must be reset right side up. Only after the first teammate has successfully flipped their cup upside down, can the next person proceed. Whichever team finishes drinking and flipping all its cups first is the winner. If the last two players’ cups hit the table at the same time the first cup that comes to rest is the winner.
7. Shamrock Shake
If you’re looking to make your friends laugh on St. Paddy’s Day, this game will surely get the giggles going. Attach long strings or pantyhose to empty tissue boxes (painted green for the occasion). Then, fill each tissue box with an even amount ping-pong balls or different kinds of treats.Tie the filled-up boxes around your guests’ waists and have them shake their groove thang until all the treats are out of the box. Pit two friends against each other to see who can shake all their treats out of the box first.
