As March is happily left behind us, it’s time to start sewing seeds! If you want to harvest by midsummer/fall (whether it be fruits, vegetables, or herb leaves) it’s important to start your seeds indoors soon... like, now! In fact, April 2nd!
and we’re talking SEEDS!
We will discuss what a seed is and how this tiny thing turns into the basis of most life on earth... the plant.
Then, of course, we’ll get dirty! Sewing seeds is a delicate, exciting, connecting process. Did you know a pea is a seed? And so is a bean. And so is quinoa.
(Psst...If you keep your seedling alive into May, you can bring it back and we can plant it outside on the roof of the gallery!...)
All materials (seeds, soil, containers, and a carry home pouch) are included in the price. We’ll have many varieties of vegetable and herb seeds to choose from, but if you have your own, you can totally bring those. You can also bring a drink (or three.) You can also bring a friend (or two.)
DM us on instagram, email firstname.lastname@example.org or venmo $20 to reserve your spot and plethora of seeds!! (insta & venmo: @smartyplantsnyc)
