Join us as we celebrate the release of The Minimalist Kitchen: The Practical Art of Making More With Less with our dear friend Melissa Coleman (aka The Fauxmartha).

Come for sips and small bites from the book—like Crispy Pizza with Caramelized Onions (p. 80), Chicken Pesto Sandwiches (p. 142 + p.97), Roasted Red Pepper Hummus (p. 185) and Lynhall Crudités, Black & White Pudding (p. 263), Two-Bowl Carrot Cupcakes (p.254), Watermelon-Lime Agua Fresca (p. 213), and wine.

Rita Mehta from The American Edit will be moderating a panel discussion on the book with Melissa, Amanda Paa from Heartbeet Kitchen, and Sarah Kieffer from Vanilla Bean Blog.

OXO and California Olive Ranch, some of Melissa's favorite companies, will be raffling off a delicious and pantry-friendly gift basket.

Books will be available for sale from Magers & Quinn Booksellers. This event is free and open to the public.

The Minimalist Kitchen: The Practical Art of Making More with Less (Oxmoor House, April 10, 2018) is a cookbook, but more importantly, it’s a framework for creating a minimalist kitchen, a kitchen pared down to the essentials. This framework touches everything from your ingredients, tools, and pantry, to your cooking techniques, meal planning, and shopping habits. Once the framework is in place, you can make 100+ mix and match recipes. Creating a minimalist kitchen is counterintuitive. You pare down so you can create more.
