The MAC is generally about visual arts, but sometimes art takes other forms. In this four-day course we will see how tabletop roleplaying games (RPGs) can be used as aids for collaborative creative storytelling.
Each student will take on the role of a different hero (much like playing a character in a stage-play), and together will decide how their characters react to challenges and conflicts devised by the instructor/Game Moderator.
They will leave with the knowledge and resources needed to continue telling stories together with RPGs after the course is complete.
Ages 12 and up
This four-day course meets from 3:30 to 5pm, every day July 10th through 13th.
